Below is my two-part response to CPS’ effort to silence me.
Part 1: The Statement
- “No principal should ever be put in a position to do what’s good for their own personal evaluation, at the expense of doing what’s good for students. But it happens all the time in CPS.”
- “When I looked at the charges I got the feeling the Mayor’s Office was projecting; That’s when you attribute your own shortcomings to someone else.”
Part 2: Response to Questions from Reporters
“We don’t make good decisions when we repress the voices of people who disagree with us.”
